The Colonel’s Secret Recipe: 13 Different Herbs and Vitamins

There are 4 steps to becoming totally free of your Restless Legs Syndrome.

STEP 1. Stop the Spreading Inflammation in its Tracks

For this you can take natural anti-inflammatories like Curcumin, Cayenne, Ginger Root, St. John’s Wort, Skullcap, Devil’s Claw, Licorice Root DGL and Omega 3.

STEP 2. Encourage the Repair/Replacement of your Damaged Cells

Calcium/Magnesium, Zinc, Potassium and Iron will take care of this for you.

STEP 3. Encourage the Healing/Repair of your Nervous System

Take Vitamin b12, Lecithin and a homeopathic tissue salt called Kali Phos. The Omega 3 and St. John’s Wort will also be helping out in this area.

STEP 4. Prevent Inflammation from reoccurring

A personalized combination of the above supplements PLUS a healthy diet.

Here’s your daily intake of vitamins, herbs and minerals.

Iron: Take one capsule in the morning on an empty stomach.  Experiment and research to find the appropriate amount for you.

TAKE WITH EACH MEAL

Curcumin 500 mg
Cayenne 500 mg
Ginger Root 550 mg
Devil’s Claw appx. 2000 mg
Licorice DGL 1 chewable tablet
St. John’s Wort 430 mg
Kali Phos #6 4 tablets
Lecithin 1200 mg
Skullcap 850 mg

TAKE ONE HOUR BEFORE BED

Zinc 15 mg
Vitamin B12 1 SUBLINGUAL tablet (1000 micro grams)
Omega 3 1 capsule (or 1 tsp. liquid form)
Kali Phos #6 4 tablets
Potassium 99 mg

ADDITIONAL

Magnesium
Spread your intake throughout the day (include one tablet before bed). Experiment/research to find the appropriate amount for you. I use a high quality Calcium/Magnesium supplement (the cheaper Cal/Mag products have less absorption and are therefore less effective).

Once you’re feeling better, you can eliminate many of the above supplements from your daily intake. I strongly  suggest that you take as many as you can to start. It will kickstart your healing process into high gear.

You’ll have to do some research in regard to the amount of iron and cal/mag you should take. Even if you iron measures normal, I suggest that you take a capsule each morning. My iron measured normal when I was tested so I didn’t include it in my original daily intake.

It was several months into my recovery and I was 90% better … but was having trouble eliminating that last 10%. Adding iron to my intake, and purchasing a higher quality of Cal/Mag totally cleaned up that last 10%. I don’t even have as much as a distant twinge anymore.

Of course, if you are pregnant, have any concerns, or are taking pharmaceuticals of any kind … please make sure to consult your pharmacist to see if there are any possible conflicts that you should be aware of.
